Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 year experience in the accounting field.
- At least 3 years of experience in management role.
- Ability to analyze financial statements/schedules and write commentary to explain results/variances in a concise and clear manner.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with financial systems and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have ability to leadership and have management skills for team work.
Responsibilities
- Examine the team’s day-to-day operations and keep all accounting records updated
- Review the accuracy and completeness of accounting information and financial reports e.g. account reconciliation, journal entries, reports, and all costing and revenue transactions prepared by subordinates
- Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly closing to ensure that accounting activities are recorded properly and accurate in accordance with relevant accounting standards and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the internal and external auditor to obtain sufficient audit evidence and provide the auditor with the facilitation and assistance necessary to ensure that quarterly and yearly audits can be conducted with a timely and accurate manner.
- Review monthly tax reconcile and tax submission to related regulators.
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements and BOI.
- Leading, managing and coaching senior and junior in the accounting team to process accounting and finance activities.
- Develop in new processes and system implementation (if any).
- Assisting in recruiting, onboarding and training accounting and finance.
